  • How much do you charge for visits?
Click here for our list of services!
  • Is there any extra charge for holidays?
Yes. Supurrior Sitting charges a holiday fee of $10.00 per visit in addition to the regular service fee on the following holidays: New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day. Please see our list of services for more information!
  • What animals do you care for?
Supurrior Sitting is solely focused on care for feline companions. We find that tailoring service to just cats provides a better standard of care for your furry friends. However, if you have a "mainly cat" household, but have other animals that may need tending to (fish, small rodents, etc.), please discuss this with us as we may be able to help.
  • Will you come meet us before pet sitting begins?
Yes! We offer a free initial in-home consultation to meet with you, meet your kitty(ies) and go over care routines for your pets and your home, as well as go over any questions or concerns you may have.
  • Does our meet and greet automatically make us a client of Supurrior Sitting?
No. The meet and greet is for us to meet each other, assess your needs, and ensure that we are a good fit for you and also that you are a good fit for us. By the end of your meet and greet, we will both decide whether or not we would like to move forward.
  • Can you give medications to my cat?
Yes! We are skilled in giving oral pills, oral liquids, topical, and injectable medications as needed as well as administration of subcutaneous fluids (as long your cat's behavior is manageable while receiving such treatment).
  • How do you handle my key?
Your key stays in our locked safe until time of use. Most clients choose to leave their keys on file with us. Should you decide to schedule pick-ups and drop-offs of your key for each set of visits, there will be a service charge after the first reservation.
  • When is payment due and what forms of payment do you take?
Payment is due in full on the first day of services rendered typically by leaving payment for your sitter to pick up on the first visit or by paying by credit card. You will receive an email, text message, or phone call confirming your visits with details of the cost several days before your trip starts. We accept cash, checks, and credit cards. Credit cards may be run during your consultation for pre-scheduled reservations or you will have an opportunity to have Supurrior Sitting Cat Sitters retain a credit card authorization on file.
  • What happens if my trip lasts longer than expected?
We will continue to care for your animals until we have confirmed that you are home and we will bill you for the extra visits when you have returned. If you are able, please call us to let us know of delays or changes of plans as soon as possible.
  • How long does a typical visit last?
Please review our list of services for details about the services we offer!
  • Do you do overnight visits?
Typically, no. However, requests for overnight visits will be reviewed on a case by case basis.
  • If my cat makes a mess or has an accident, will you clean it up?"
Yes! We will clean up any messes to the best of our ability. However, we are not responsible for any carpet/floor stains created by your cat.
  • Why should I trust you in my home and with my pets while I'm away?
Trusting us begins with the fact that we are truly committed to having satisfied, happy clients. We are fully insured and bonded and we are respected members of the communities we serve. A local and national background check has also been performed for each sitter on the Supurrior team so you know that only the best of us are caring for your kitties.
  • Will I get information on my cat while I'm away?
Yes! You will get updates by email, text message, or phone call - whichever you prefer - during each visit to let you know how your furbaby is doing.
  • I have a friend coming over to stay or help take care of my cat.  Can you just pop in and make sure everything is in good shape?
No. We cannot share cat and home care duties with any friend, family member or other sitting company. Part of why we are so good at we do is that we pay close attention to everything that happens with your cat and your home. If we are unable to provide a continuity of care throughout your absence, we may miss critical information necessary to provide the best possible care and service for you. Plus, our insurance company would get super upset!
  • My cat is shy and will probably hide from you.  Can we just have you visit every couple of days to make sure he/she has food and water?
No. Our standard policy is that we visit your cat every single day or twice a day. We all know that cats are masters of hiding illnesses, turning into liquid and getting themselves stuck in all sorts of odd places, and cats get lonely, too! We insist on visiting at least every day to ensure the health and safety of your pet. While we're caring for your cat we're also caring for your home, too. If a pipe happens to bust, a break-in happens, a flood happens (hey, we are in Houston), or any other random freak accident happens, we'll be able to react to and handle that emergency that much quicker to save you the headache and expense of extended damage.
